Recently, we asked you to come up with a unique ice cream flavor that describes Cowtown and utilizes one to three locally sourced ingredients. After reading all of your responses, it’s safe to say that our mouths are watering. Here were some of our favorites:

“Cowtown Crunch” | Coffee ice cream flavored with coffee from Fort Worth Coffee Co., topped with beignets from Lucile’s, chocolate cookie pieces from Fort Worth Cookie Gal, and salted caramel. — Sabrina G.

“Drunken Frog” | Caramel ice cream topped with pieces of artisan toffee from Wildtoad toffee, chunks of chocolate from Kate Weiser Chocolate, and a drizzle of Blackland Distillery’s Texas Pecan Brown Sugar Bourbon. — Kate M.

“Fort Worth Berry Caramel Delight” | Vanilla ice cream swirled with blueberry jam from Funkytown Donuts and whiskey caramel crunch from TX Whiskey. — Madison J.

“Fort Whiskey” | A TX Whiskey-infused vanilla ice cream topped with toffee from Fort Worth Fudge Company, pecans from Vending Nut Co., and a sprinkle of brown sugar. — Kathryn K.

“Cowboy Cookie” | Pecans, browned butter, chocolate, cinnamon, and rolled oats in a cinnamon cone. — Madison M.

Mango, pineapple, habanero. — Freaky Ferments Brewing

Sweet Lucy’s Pies-and-TX Whiskey pecan pie ice cream with a fudge swirl. — Tiffany T.

Dr. Pepper ice cream with bacon burnt ends. — Mama Lama Sweets
