Clear your Wednesday evenings for a sunny jog down the Clearfork Trail.

Missed registration for the Cowtown Marathon? Don’t hang up your running shoes just yet. There’s still time to sign up for the Fort Worth Zoo Run and you might even spot our very own Editor Elizabeth, who’s already deep into 5K training.

Not quite race-ready? No problem. We’ve rounded up seven local run clubs to help you build endurance, find community, and start moving.

Ampersand Running Club | Founded by the West 7th coffee shop and bar, the club gets together at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. It also hosts themed runs like Valentine’s and Christmas. Members get exclusive perks.

Glad Run Club | You’ll be glad you joined. This group runs 6:30 p.m. on Mondays + 7 a.m. on Saturdays. Hop in their Strava group.

Social Running Club | The club runs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays on the Clearfork Trail + has race and dine events where you can run hard and brunch even harder.

Fort Worth Runners Club | The non-profit dedicated to running, walking, and fitness has activities and races for all levels. The next event is the First Responders 5K on Sunday, March 22 at the Trinity Park Pavilion.

North Texas Striders | Out of Flower Mound, the group caters to residents in the North DFW suburbs and meets four times per week, running short and long distances. Individual membership starts at $25 per year.

North Texas Trail Runners | Hosts of the annual Frisco Trail Race, get out there and enjoy the North Texas landscape with social runs through nature.

Honorable mention: Cowtown Trailblazers | Although the prime time to join has passed, the Trailblazers is the it-posse to join if you’re thinking about registering for next year’s Cowtown Marathon with Tuesday social runs, Thursday track runs, and Saturday long runs.
