Saddle up, Fort Worth — the Ariat Texas Rattlers are showing up for Texas in a big way

The professional bull riding team plans to hold three signature events in Texas, solidifying their presence in one of the fastest-growing sports in the US.

“Ride for Texas” serves as the foundation for the team’s 2026 season.

The 2023 Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Team Series champions have added three signature events to this year’s lineup — and they’re all in Texas. “Ride for Texas” — the team’s latest initiative — paves the way for PBR athletes to compete at an elite level and provides Texas fans more opportunities to experience the thrill.

“Ride for Texas” will serve as the foundation for the Rattlers’ 2026 season, as two of the major events lead up to the team’s annual homestand at Dickies Arena in October. Here’s the lineup:

  • Chevron Showdown | Thursday, June 4 | 7 p.m. | Ector County Coliseum, Odessa | $27+ | Psst — the Sideline Party Deck tickets let you get a behind-the-chutes look before the show.
  • Ride For Decatur | Saturday, June 6 | 7:30 p.m. | Wise County Fairgrounds, Decatur | $28+ | Formerly known as the J.W. Hart Challenge — check out the new Dirt Party tickets to experience the excitement from ground level.
  • PBR Team Series: Rattler Days | Friday, Oct. 2-Sunday, Oct. 4 | Times vary | Dickies Arena | $28+ | The team’s home event contains three days of bull-riding action, family-friendly events, and a parade in the Stockyards.

Tickets for each went on sale on Texas Independence Day — Monday, March 2.
