A new place to sip: Hogan Alley

The coffee, wine, and spirit shop recently opened near Sundance Square.

The inside of a long building with multiple sets of tables and chairs in a line down the middle. On either side are also different table and chair sets. In the front is a set of two lounge chairs and a couch on top of a rug.

There’s ample seating + WiFi for remote workers.

There’s a new space in town for coffee, wine, and cocktail fans to enjoy a daytime caffeine boost or a post-work drink: Hogan Alley.

Located downtown in historic Hell’s Half Acre, Hogan Alley isn’t actually an alley — though its narrow and long space is reminiscent of one. Here’s what to expect if you stop by the newly opened sippin’ spot.

An iced coffee drink in a clear glass sits atop a bar.

We tried the “Texas Sun": A coffee spritz with cold brew, orange and lemon juice, maple syrup, Angostura bitters, and seltzer.

  • Light snacks like croissants and salads
  • A variety of seating — from comfy couches to high top tables and bar seats — surrounded by Texas-themed artwork
