Spring break is here for Fort Worth ISD and surrounding school districts. If you’re searching for ways to keep the kiddos busy, look no further. Here are some free family-friendly events taking place in Fort Worth starting Monday, March 16.

Fort Worth Spring Break Camps (Ages 5-12) | Through Monday, March 23 | 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. | Multiple community centers | Parents, drop your little camper off, and a variety of recreational, educational, and cultural programs will keep them entertained. Registration is required

Spring Breakaway Stockyards Style | Through Tuesday, March 31 | 10 a.m.-8 p.m. | Fort Worth Stockyards, 131 E. Exchange Ave. | Families can enjoy live music and lawn games while soaking up the sun in the Wild West atmosphere.

Art Break! | Through Friday, March 20 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St. | Spend time in the galleries and get an up-close look at paintings, photographs, and sculptures. Be sure to stop by the Art Break stations to hear from local artists.

Spring Break at the Carter | Through Friday, March 20 | 1-4 p.m. | Amon Carter Museum of American Art, 3501 Camp Bowie Blvd. | Students of all ages are invited to take part in gallery games, art making, and other daily creative challenges.

Fort Worth ISD Free Lunches for Kids | Tuesday, March 17-Thursday, March 19 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Multiple locations | Check the list of participating campuses providing free, hot lunches to kids 18 or under. They do not have to attend the school where they’re grabbing lunch, but the meal must be consumed on school property.

Hayrides, Hikes + more | Through Sunday, March 22 | 8 a.m.-5 p.m. | Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, 9601 Fossil Ridge Rd. | Guided walks, yoga classes, bison-feeding hayrides, and even Canoe Fest are spread throughout the week. The cost of admission will get you access to any of these and more.

Dinosaur Park | Through Sunday, March 29 | 9 a.m.-6 p.m. | Meadowmere Park, 3000 Meadowmere Ln., Grapevine | Raising a dino-lover? See over a dozen 15-ft-tall animatronic dinosaurs, play with tools used in real fossil digs, feel what dinosaur skin may have felt like, and attend a Dino Disco PJ Party.

Spring Break at Klyde Warren Park | Through Sunday, March 22 | Times vary | Klyde Warren Park, 2012 Woodall Rodgers Fwy., Dallas| Dallas’ central park is offering 10 days of free programming, including star-gazing, a STEM activity, and a “Zootopia 2" showing.
