With an upcoming professional stadium and 2026 FIFA World Cup host location, Fort Worth is becoming a soccer city.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off yesterday in Qatar + Cowtown is ready to shout “GOOOOOAL” at the television. A reader asked us where to watch the tournament and we’re here to help. Catch the matches at these five spots:

Who are we cheering for? There are three North Texans playing on the US Men’s National Team.

Forward Jesús Ferriera is from McKinney and plays for FC Dallas, Plano-native Kellyn Acosta plays midfield for Los Angeles FC, and midfielder Weston McKennie grew up in Dallas before taking a spot on Juventas in Italy.
