This will have you feeling nostalgic — one of America’s most iconic toy stores is opening its first-ever airport location at DFW Airport.
Earlier this week, the airport announced that Toys “R” Us will open in Terminal A at Gate A28 later this year. An airport representative said, “Every trip is better with a trip to Toys ‘R’ Us on the way.”
The toy store is bringing Geoffrey the Giraffe to the world’s second-busiest airport as it refocuses its business model on store-within-a-store locations. Since filing for bankruptcy in 2017, Toys “R” Us primarily operates out of Macy’s and a few flagship stores.

The last time I was in a Toys “R” Us I was probably getting a new Tamagotchi to add to the key chain of 10 others I had. If you’re feeling nostalgic like me, grab a Tamagotchi keychain for yourself.
