This will have you feeling nostalgic — one of America’s most iconic toy stores is opening its first-ever airport location at DFW Airport.

Earlier this week, the airport announced that Toys “R” Us will open in Terminal A at Gate A28 later this year. An airport representative said, “Every trip is better with a trip to Toys ‘R’ Us on the way.”

The toy store is bringing Geoffrey the Giraffe to the world’s second-busiest airport as it refocuses its business model on store-within-a-store locations. Since filing for bankruptcy in 2017, Toys “R” Us now primarily operates out of Macy’s and a few flagship stores.

Here’s a look at what else is opening at DFW Airport:

Lego | Children, adults, and hobbyists alike can shop for Lego products at the new store in Terminal D near Gate D20 later this year. Pro tip: You can shop for Legos now at the vending machine in Terminal A.

Nowitzki | Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki is opening a sports and celebrity-themed bar in Terminal C later this summer. It’s expected to feature an augmented reality meet and greet + classic meals from Dirk’s home country Germany like chicken schnitzel, bratwurst, and hamburgers.

Eatzi’s Market and Bakery | The Dallas-based eatery will open later this summer in Terminal D. The market is known for its take-out meals like custom sandwiches, pasta, and sweets.

PS VIP Services | The airport approved a 10-year lease agreement with the private luxury terminal that will feature chef-prepared meals, a chauffeur service, private security screenings, and day beds. It’s expected to open in 2024.
