Ooohh…Dough! is the name of one ice cream flavor at this Ohio ice cream chain.

Branch & Bean Coffee + Roastery, 2624 Whitmore St. | Coffee
You’ve tasted Maple Branch’s beer, now how about its coffee? The Foundry District brewery introduced its new coffee shop located inside the brewery this month. They serve coffee, pastries + breakfast tacos.

Corner BBQ and Oyster Bar, 122 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 200 | BBQ + Oysters
Aww shucks. Chef Tim Love replaced Tannahill’s former restaurant T’s Tavern with a new concept serving up barbecue and raw oysters. It features offerings from Woodshed’s Smokehouse + a rotating oyster menu sourced from the East Coast.

Hideaway Pizza, 9800 N. Fwy | Pizza
An Oklahoma pizza chain opened its first Fort Worth location this month. Tip from Editor Elizabeth — try the fried mushrooms.

Bojangles, 12801 South Fwy. | Chicken
We heard the chicken and biscuits from this North Carolina-based fried chicken stop are famous. It opened in the former Five Guys.

Ichiro Izakaya Diner & Bar, 401 Bryan Ave., Ste. 109 | Japanese
Izakaya diner with a bar focusing on Japanese yakitori and charcoal-grilled items.

Polanco, 570 Throckmorton St. | Mexican
The new upscale dining experience serves dishes inspired by the Mexico City neighborhood. Look into entrees, such as the arrachera antara or aguachile carnivoro. It also has valet parking.

Johnny’s World Famous Chicken and Waffles, 2707 Race St., Ste. 117 | Brunch
Like the name suggests, its signature item is chicken and waffles — the most popular brunch food in Georgia. The restaurant chain was started by Atlanta chef Crystal Smith and R&B artist Ne-Yo. The place calls itself an “over-the-top experience from the moment you walk in.”

JuiceLand, 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy., Ste. 100 | Juice + Smoothies
The Austin-based juice and plant-based food chain opened its first store in Fort Worth. Try staples like smoothies, acai bowls, sandwiches, and wraps.

Rise Souffle, 2001 W. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 155 | French
The French cafe and wine bar that specializes in the baked egg dish is now + is serving savory souffles, dessert souffles, French onion soup, coffee, wine, and more.

The Anchor on Eagle Mountain Lake, 6680 E. Peden Rd. | American
How do you feel about dinner with a view? A new lakefront bar and grill features burgers, wings, fried catfish, and oysters + lake-inspired appetizers like lake logs, spicy canoes, and dockside crispitos.

Branded Bagels, 1242 FM 407, Ste. 300, Northlake | Breakfast
Get your New York-style bagel fix at this new spot that just opened in the Northlake Commons shopping center. Try ~16 flavors like everything, jalapeno cheddar + cinnamon raisin. You can also choose from a variety of schmears, such as pesto cream cheese or hot honey maple bacon.

The triple-threat dining experience, where you cook your own meal at your table, serves all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue, hot pot, and sushi.

Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, 3251 Tracewood Wy., Ste. 101 | Hawaiian
Say ‘aloha’ to authentic Hawaiian-style plate lunches with bold island flavors, tender meats, and a laid-back vibe.

Rodeo Goat, 333 E. Division St., Arlington | Burgers
The gastropub is renowned for its inventive, house‑ground burgers (try a Hot Bastard, Dad Bod, or Newsletter Editor Elizabeth’s favorite — the Bodacious), extensive craft beer and cocktail lineup. They host Battle of the Burgers each week.

In here, it’s always Christmas. The landmark dazzles guests year-round with an over-the-top “Christmas-wonderland” décor, now revived under acclaimed chef Mouhssine “Moose” Benhamacht with a refreshed menu and craft cocktails.

Craftway Kitchen, 2820 E. Southlake Blvd., Southlake | New American
Stop by for an elevated twist on classic comfort dishes, featuring scratch-made soups, salads, sandwiches, hearty entrees, and craft cocktails in a casual, neighborhood‑friendly setting.

After its spring announcement, Dan’s Bagels finally teased the upcoming FTW store on Instagram. According to the Reel, in “just a few more weeks,” you’ll be able to get scratch-made sourdough bagels at the corner of Forest Park Boulevard and Park Hill Avenue.

Heim BBQ, Weatherford | Barbecue | Estimated opening: Fall 2025
Slow-smoked, post-oak–fired meats — including their famed bacon burnt ends — and comfort sides are served in a fast-casual setting.

Dos Mares, 3260 W. 7th St. | Seafood | Estimated opening: Fall 2025
A concept of chef Juan Ramón Cárdenas, meaning “two seas,” this restaurant features casual Mexican seafood and will open next door to Don Artemio.

Top of the Morning, 2948 Crockett St. | Breakfast| Estimated opening: Fall 2025
The chipper-sounding breakfast spot will take up the space formerly known as Mash’d by restaurateur Nick Roditis — who is known for expanding Yolk.

Henry McCarty Irish Pub, 2869 Crockett St. | Irish | Estimated opening: Fall 2025
Henry McCarty’s will be the first Irish pub in FTW to serve classic Irish dishes like fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage, and an Irish breakfast. It is destined for the former Cork & Pig Tavern

Beverly’s Downtown, 901 Houston St. | Mexican | Estimated opening: Winter 2025
Cousin’s BBQ founders Jeff Payne and Jason Cross are bringing an upscale Mexican concept to the basement of the historic Hogan Building. Bold regional flavors and craft mezcal cocktails meet a moody, speakeasy-style ambiance.

Duong DeVille, White Settlement | Vietnamese | Estimated opening: December 2025
Dumpling chef and grocery store owner Hao Tran will open a new eatery that will serve specialties inspired by her Vietnamese heritage, like dumplings, pastries, and breads.

One Trick Pony Pizza Tavern, 313 S. Main St. | Pizza | Estimated opening: Winter 2025
The owners of Heim BBQ are set to open up a pizza tavern inside the former Hot Box Biscuit Club.

White Castle, 4520 Destination Dr., The Colony | Burgers | Estimated opening: Summer 2026
Texas is getting its first-ever White Castle in the slider company’s 100-year history — but FTW residents will have to drive far to get to it. Executives announced that a location will open in The Colony.

Teddy Wongs Dumpings & Wine, Houston Avenue, Weatherford Square | Asian | Estimated opening: Not yet announced
Popular dumpling destination and CultureMap’s 2025 Restaurant of the Year will open up its second location in Weatherford.
