Did you know? Language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, impact one in five individuals.

Key School and Training Center, a local nonprofit organization that supports students with learning differences, invites the community to participate in events that highlight and address these academic challenges

Here’s what’s coming up:

  • Experience Dyslexia | Thursday, Oct. 9 | A simulation-based workshop with hands-on activities that demonstrate the academic challenges students with dyslexia, ADHD, and processing disorders face.
  • Academic Language Therapy Presentation | Wednesday, Oct. 15 | See firsthand the individualized instruction Key School students receive.
  • Admissions Open House | Wednesday, Oct. 22 | Learn more about the admissions process, individualized schedules, small class sizes, Academic Language Therapy, and more.

The Key School and Training Center provides a variety of programs for Tarrant County students and hosts ongoing workshops, guest speakers, and activities. See the website for details.
