By state law, General Elections for City Council are held on the first Saturday of May of every odd-numbered year, which makes Saturday, May 3, 2025, Election Day. To make this election as easy as possible, we’ve curated need-to-know information about how and where to vote and what to expect on the ballot.

Important dates + times

  • Last day to apply for ballot by mail | Tuesday, April 22 (application must be received by this date)
  • Early voting | Tuesday, April 22-Tuesday, April 29
  • Polling times | 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Election Day (early voting times will vary)

Find your polling location

During early voting, cast your vote at any of the available locations.

On Election Day, you can vote at any designated polling station. You can find the closest one to you (and check to make sure you’re registered to vote) here.

What are we voting on?

Good news for planners: You can view a sample ballot before heading to the polls so that you know what to expect. This year, all 11 city council seats are open, and 35 people are looking to fill those seats. See below for the full list of candidates.
