Where to find ghost kitchens in Fort Worth, TX

Ghost Kitchens are popping up across the city — and no, they aren’t something out of a low-rated scary movie. These kitchens are essentially a restaurant without the dining space, with the main focus on fulfilling online orders for pickup or delivery.

We’ve put together a list of these mysterious kitchens and where you can find them.

Pizza from Pizza Zapasta

Pizza Zapasta | 1300 Gould Ave.

This menu is an Italian lover’s dream with house-made gnocchi and rigatoni + signature pizzas including Esquites con Flor de Calabaza (a white pizza topped with grilled corn, roasted poblano, and a garlic sauce). Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

Eat Fajitas | 1300 Gould Ave.

This Mexican joint serves up fajitas and margaritas, with your choice of sirloin, veggies, and combination fajitas + sides like queso and guacamole. For dessert, try the churros and popsicles made by Melt Ice Creams. Bonus: the sirloin was one of Texas Monthly’s favorite dishes of 2020.

A bowl of ramen from Kintaro

Kintaro Ramen | 101 E. Abram St., Arlington

There are few things better than a hot bowl of ramen on a cold winter’s day, and Kintaro is serving up just that. Named FW Weekly’s Best Ramen 2021, the kitchen makes dishes like vegetarian curry and Karashimiso (spicy miso broth, pork belly, chicken breast, soft egg, bean sprouts, buttered corn, fried garlic). Bonus: the kitchen has since turned its ghost kitchen into a brick-and-mortar restaurant on Crockett Row (at 2801 W. 7th St.) and in downtown Arlington.

Secret Sauce Barbeque | 5288 Monahans Ave.

Secret Sauce offers the ultimate barbecue experience with shareable appetizers such as hot link queso and crispy fried smoked wings with a choice of house-made BBQ sauces including Carolina Mustard BBQ, Buffalo, and Nashville Hot.

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen | 1431 Plaza Pl., Southlake

Created by celebrity chef and flame-shirt enthusiast, Guy Fieri, this menu features burgers, wings, and other American classics. We recommend trying the cheesesteak egg rolls stuffed with “super melty cheese.”

El Pollo Tocayo | 1300 Gould Ave.

This Northside restaurant was created by local restaurateur Lanny Lancarte. Located in an abandoned church — El Pollo Tocayo is serving items like grilled chicken al carbon, fried chicken + blackened pesto green beans. Check out chef Lanny’s other local kitchens.
