This Weekend: Enjoy Grand Prairie’s Main Street Fest

Parliament Funkadelic will be there, as will over 50 vendors.

There will be two Ferris wheels at this year’s festival.

Grand Prairie City Hall (200 W. Main St., Grand Prairie, ~20 miles east of downtown Fort Worth) will be hosting the three-day Main Street Fest this week.

While admission is free, some rides are ticketed. Grand Prairie residents can get unlimited single-day rides for $25 with a resident coupon; anyone else can ride unlimited for $40.

The festival also features 50+ arts, crafts, and goods vendors — as well as 16 food vendors. There is free parking available downtown.

Parliament Funkadelic feat. George Clinton will headline Sunday’s main stage . There’s also a community stage featuring a variety of weekend performers.

The festival runs:

  • Friday, April 26, 5 p.m.-12 a.m.
  • Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
  • Sunday, April 28, 12-8 p.m.
