Fans called it. The Dallas Cowboys announced that Post Malone will take center stage at AT&T Stadium during the Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show on Thanksgiving Day. The Grapevine-born artist — who has always professed his love for The Boys — told the team “it’s a real honor.

The halftime show kicks off The Salvation Army’s annual campaign — which began way back in 1891. We’ve all seen the bright red buckets outside of shopping malls and grocery stores. Donations can help cover the cost of a Christmas meal for families in need or people experiencing homelessness.

Want to watch the show live? Tickets to the 3:30 p.m. Cowboys vs. Chiefs game are still available, starting at $160.

The Wrap

Last week, I went to the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation’s (FWFWF) sold-out Night Market. If you missed the event, then you definitely missed one of the biggest foodie parties of the year. We tried mini corndogs, salmon cakes, beignets, roasted butternut squash, and lots and lots of cocktails.

Save the date. FWFWF has already announced the dates of its spring festival — Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12. Tickets go on sale Monday, Dec. 1. Food and beverage participants are waiting to be announced, but we’ll drop them into the newsletter once we know.

Also, give it up for our Sales Executive Madison for making her newsletter debut.
