NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal will debut his inaugural electronic music festival this summer in Fort Worth.

Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival will take place at Panther Island Pavilion with 15 entertainers across two stages on Saturday, September 16. The curated lineup includes Alison Wonderland, Kai Wachi, Sullivan King, Crankdat, Jantsen, Layz, Emorfik, and Hairitage, to name a few.

💿 DJ Diesel on the track

In case you’ve missed out on the 51-year-old’s rise to EDM — electronic dance music — fame, here’s some background on how he became known as DJ Diesel.

Shaq took the stage for the first time as Diesel during the 2015 TomorrowWorld festival in Belgium and never looked back.

In 2018, the 7-ft-1-inch basketball legend was given the opportunity to DJ at Ohio’s Lost Lands Festival and later staged his inaugural Fun House festival around major entertainment and sports events.

The dubstep dad has a busy summer ahead leading up to the Cowtown festival with his “Summer of SHAQ” tour with performances at Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Los Angeles’ HARD Summer, and Belgium’s Tomorrowland.
