Tuesday, Nov. 5 is the big day — aka Election Day — and we’ve done the googling so you don’t have to.
To make this election as easy as possible, we’ve curated need-to-know information about how and where to vote, along with what to expect on the ballot.
Important dates + times
Last day to apply for ballot by mail|Friday, Oct. 25 (application must be received by this date)
Early voting | Monday, Oct. 21-Friday, Nov. 1
Polling times | 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Election Day (early voting times will vary)
Find your polling location
During early voting, you can cast your vote at any of the available locations — it does not need to be your official polling place.
On Election Day, you’ll have to vote at your designated polling location. You can find where your polling location is (and check to make sure you’re registered to vote) here.

Saturday, Oct. 19
Halloween Weekend Bar Crawl | Saturday, Oct. 19 | 4-11 p.m. | BAR 2909 | $13+ | Put on your costume and head to multiple venues for a holiday bar crawl.
A 67-unit, mixed-income development is planned for the Near Southside. The project is set to feature 60 units for residents who earn $30,000-$60,000 a year — the rest will be market rate — and 2,200 sqft dedicated to JPS Health Network to provide health services to residents. Completion is slated for early 2026. (Fort Worth Report)
Mansion Monday
Imagine being welcomed home by a monumental porte-cochère. A 7-BD, 10-BA contemporary home is on the market in Lucas. The 11,267-sqft new build is situated on a 3.97-acre lot and features two dining areas, a pool, three fireplaces, and private balconies.
Today Is
It’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day, a day all about honoring our Native communities. The Fort Worth Public Library is hosting several Indigenous Peoples Day events, including a mola fabric craft session at the Northwest branch on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Eat
The American Airlines Center unveiled a new menu for its Mavericks and Stars concessions. Fans will be able to dine on Bonnano Brothers pizza, churros, and a Texas cheesesteak sandwich — among other items — while cheering on the teams. (The Dallas Morning News)
Civic
City staff have recommended that City Council adopt Chapter 36 to the Code of the City of Fort Worth, establishing news rules and regulations for Open Space properties. The chapter would establish hours of operation, prohibit actions like littering and fishing, and limit vehicles to designated areas.
Concert
Heavy metal band Disturbed will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album “The Sickness” with a North American tour that will make a stop at Dickies Arena on Saturday, April 26. Presale tickets go live tomorrow. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Plan Ahead
Comedian Jim Gaffigan will kick off the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Auditorium Entertainment Series. Gaffigan will bring his “Everything is Wonderful!” tour to Will Rogers Memorial on January 31. Purchase tickets.
