The Fort Worth Zoo is saying goodbye to baby gorilla Jameela after multiple unsuccessful attempts to introduce her to surrogate mothers. Jameela will head to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo — where there is a female gorilla with proven surrogate experience — early this week.
Tiger Woods’ family-friendly mini golf and dining experience Popstroke will open its newest (Texas) location on Thursday, March 28 at The Colony’s Grandscape. The site will feature two 18-hole courses, outdoor dining, a beer garden, and an enclosed playground. It’ll be open daily starting at 9 a.m.

The Fort Worth Vaqueros Youth Soccer Club and the Texas Alliance Soccer Club are joining forces. In the coming weeks, expect changes to the two organizations’ social media accounts and websites as they become one soccer club.
Legacy
Fort Worth philanthropist Rosalyn Gross “Roz” Rosenthal died last week at 99 years old. During her lifetime, Rosenthal contributed to multiple local projects, including the neonatal unit at Cook Children’s Health Care System and the endowed clarinet chair at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
