Gone, but not forgotten are the restaurants, shops, and movie theaters that once held our hearts.
So far this year, a handful of local restaurants said farewell in Fort Worth including wood-fired pizzeria Fireside Pies, Hotel Revel’s seafood restaurant La Onda, and food truck-turned-restaurant Calisience.
On the brighter side, several new businesses will open in the area like Texas-based grocer H-E-B, Lockhart-based Terry Black’s Barbecue, luxury golf venue UnderPar Life, and the newest downtown hotel Le Méridien.
Chips and salsa, because honestly, is there a better snack?Sobremesa’s salsa is well worth the chip dip with flavors including layered, complex Mole Poblano + spicy Smoky Salsa Oaxaqueña.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out 3rd Street Market yet, I highly recommend grabbing some sourdough bread and other goodies before the store closes on Saturday.
I had the opportunity to sit at the bar, watch Trent bake loaves of bread, and chat for hours when they first opened. It even inspired me to pick up sourdough baking of my own.
