Gone, but not forgotten are the restaurants, shops, and movie theaters that once held our hearts.

So far this year, a handful of local restaurants said farewell in Fort Worth including wood-fired pizzeria Fireside Pies, Hotel Revel’s seafood restaurant La Onda, and food truck-turned-restaurant Calisience.

On the brighter side, several new businesses will open in the area like Texas-based grocer H-E-B, Lockhart-based Terry Black’s Barbecue, luxury golf venue UnderPar Life, and the newest downtown hotel Le Méridien.

What shuttered businesses would you like to see return to glory?

Our personal picks include Downtown Cowtown at the Isis, Tre Mogli Cucina Italiana, Twilite Lounge, and Lola’s, to name a few.
