In our opinion, the best part of morning exercise is the post-workout treat. Who are we to gatekeep the best brunches in town?
Eggtastic Brunch Cafe | The morning cafe has all your early-day favorites + an in-house coffee roastery.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery | The breakfast spot boasts rotating seasonal menus featuring specialty pancake flights.
The Bearded Lady | Kick off your weekend with a hefty serving of shrimp and grits or a vegan burrito + sip on 12 different morning cocktails or 25 draft beers.
Old Texas Brewing Co. | Start your day with a loaded tater tot skillet or a Little Texans Brunch for kids 12 and under.
Yolk | Enjoy all the eggs you can eat with omelets, scramblers, and Benedicts.
Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual restaurant serving — you guessed it — chicken salad, is opening a second Tarrant County location tomorrow. The restaurant is set to open at 10:30 a.m. at 2101 E. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake and the first 100 customers will get free chicken salad options throughout the year.
Fun fact: Chicken Salad Chick started in Auburn, Alabama, where I went to college. While I have tried just about the entire menu, my go-to order is Classic Carol on a croissant with lettuce and tomato + a side of grape salad. War Eagle.
