Magnolia Avenue has become a hotspot for families, millennials, out-of-towners, and developers alike.

The Fort Worth neighborhood is home to casual eateries, swanky wine bars + chic cocktail lounges, as well as several new and up-and-coming projects that are making headlines. Here’s a rundown of what’s new in the area + what’s to come.

🍽️ New restaurants

Lockwood Distilling Co., 1411 W. Magnolia Ave.

Handcrafted cocktails, a rustic yet upscale ambiance, and the Dirty South Pie featuring Fritos + melted pimento cheese. Need we say more?

The Radler, 1229 7th Ave.

A German-inspired Biergarten brought to you by the owners of Durty Murphy’s Irish Pub and The Winchester Tavern.

Ober Here, 1165 8th Ave.

Food truck serving up Filipino-style rice bowls that quite literally takes the saying “taste the rainbow” to a whole new level.

The Beast and Company, 1010 W. Magnolia Ave.

Self-described as “globally inspired and rooted in Southern cuisine.”

🚧 Restaurants that are coming soon or remodeling:

Cheba Hut, 1217 8th Ave.

This “toasted” sandwich shop will replace Super Chix. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Lili’s Bistro, 1310 W. Magnolia Ave.

Temporarily closed for 30-90 days to freshen up “the concept, menus, and staffing.” Follow them on Instagram for updates.

Paris Coffee Shop, 704 W. Magnolia Ave.

Currently undergoing major renovations. Co-owner Chris Reale told “PaperCity Magazine” it will reopen in April.

A mixed-use development that is slated to be complete early this year.

Dickie’s Skate Plaza, 1601 Lipscomb St.

A 15,000-sqft skate plaza that will include a dog park, market plaza, community green, and a 5,000-sqft all-wheel track. Construction is expected to be finished by October.
