A grand opening will be held this morning for the new $7.3 million park in the Alliance neighborhood. Alliance Park is currently in Phase I of II of the Alliance Park Master Plan . It spans 154 acres and features a park, playground + walking trails.

The master plan was approved back in 2017 and funding for the project was acquired from the 2014 + 2018 bond programs, Texas Parks and Wildlife grants, park dedication fees, and land donated by developer Hillwood.

When Phase II wraps up, the park will include a number of amenities including:

⚽ 3 irrigated competition soccer fields + 1 multi-use field large enough for two soccer fields.

🏀 1 multi-use court for sports such as basketball and tennis.

🌳 1 playground area + picnic pavilion

👟 Half-mile of concrete trail

Stop by for the official opening today at 10 a.m. at 3800 Litsey Road.
