- In January, the Fort Worth Zoo introduced Moja, its first lion cub born in the new “Predators of Asia & Africa” exhibit — and he’s clawed his way into our hearts.
- April saw the addition of a fresh grocery store in Fort Worth. H-E-B Alliance opened its first Tarrant County location, and our grocery lists haven’t been the same since.
- In June, we dove into an important part of Texas, and national history when we interviewed Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth.”
- We prepared to say farewell to LaGrave Field in October + November. The former home of the Fort Worth Cats auctioned off memorabilia ahead of its impending demolition.
