Prep that shopping list, Fort Worthians. After years of planning, H-E-B will officially debut its highly anticipated store at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. in Alliance Town Center today — the popular Texas grocer’s first-ever location in Tarrant County. We’ve been hungry since the groundbreaking back in October 2022.
🛒 A sweep of the supermarket
We got a chance to peruse the freshly minted aisles. Inside, shoppers will find all of the bells and whistles that make H-E-B a household name, including:

🛍️ The H-E-B history + hype
H-E-B is a family-owned company that began in 1905 in Kerrville, Texas. Over the next 100+ years, the chain grew a faithful following, becoming a Texas staple with more than 400 stores across the state and in Mexico.
Shoppers love H-E-B for its store brand products made by Texans, like the Texas Pecan Cafe Olé, and for its Texas-shaped items like its tortilla chips. The company is also touted for its programs that vow to give back to local communities. In honor of the H-E-B Alliance store opening, the company donated $10,000 each to Casa of Tarrant County and the North Texas Humane Society.
The H-E-B Alliance opening comes just a week after the company broke ground on a store in Prosper, expected to open in 2025. There’s also a store being built in Mansfield, slated to debut this summer.
