With less than one week until the start of college football, we are already picking out our purple gameday outfits, taste-testing our guacamole, and practicing our TCU chants. Score the need-to-know info before you cheer on the Horned Frogs all season long.

Can’t miss games

If you’re a true Horned Frogs fan, then you know every game is a can’t-miss game. But these games are next level.

  • September 21 vs. SMU | Away | TCU will take on their rival across the metroplex in the century-old rivalry + is aiming to keep hold of the Iron Skillet trophy.
  • November 2 vs. Baylor | Away | The Horned Frogs are looking to keep the Big 12 momentum going against the Bears in the Bluebonnet Battle.

Know before you go

Have tickets to watch TCU in person? Before you don your purple boots, there are a couple need-to-knows about Amon G. Carter Stadium.

  • Parking | Parking is always stressful, especially with 100,000 other fans involved. Save this map of available garages and surface lots near the stadium.
  • Stadium rules | Familiarize yourself with the rules, including the permitted clear bags under 14 in by 14 in and one unopened bottle of water.

Players to root for

With seven Horned Frogs entering into the NFL — including offensive lineman Brandon Coleman, tight end Jared Wiley, and cornerback Josh Newton — we’re keeping a close eye on these seniors who have made more than one recent watchlist.

  • Linebacker Nambi Obiazor led TCU with 84 tackles and four sack last season and is in line for the Butkus Award and Chuck Bednarik Award.
  • Wide receiver Savion Williams recorded 573 recieving yards in 2023 and is up for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and Bruce Feldman’s College Football Freaks List.
  • Tight end Drake Dabney is brining his skills from Baylor to TCU in homes of earning the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and John Mackey Award.

Cheers to the Horned Frogs
