Last month, FTWtoday officially launched its Small Business Signature — inviting readers to nominate the local businesses they love so we can shed a spotlight on them.

Denton’s longest-running documentary festival — Thin Line Fest — starts today, March 18, and runs through Sunday, March 22. The five-day film, music + photography festival is free to the public and 100% walkable in downtown Denton. Check the website to see the festival schedule and map.

There are several chances to learn more about this year’s $800 million bond proposal. Attend any one of seven educational meetings starting next Wednesday, March 25. Election day is Saturday, May 2.

Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band will perform at Dickies Arena on Saturday, July 25 for the “Keep the Party Going Tour.” Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, March 20.

Texas A&M’s downtown Fort Worth campus is set to officially open, plus offer classes, this fall.
