The TCU men’s basketball team has advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after beating Ohio State 66-64 yesterday. The team takes on No. 1 Duke in the second round tomorrow, March 21.

Beren Mediterranean Empire Kitchen is on the move. The Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant is leaving Funky Town Food Hall to open up at the PS1200 complex — just a few blocks away. It hopes to open its new location early next month, starting with dinner only. (CultureMap Fort Worth)
Weather
She’s baaaaack. Record-breaking heat is moving into North Texas this weekend. Local meteorologist Pete Delkus tells us that the first time we hit 97 degrees in 2025 was in July. This year? It’s Sunday’s high.
Traffic
A $142 million, three-year highway project near downtown Fort Worth is set to begin later this year. Changes include replacing the Sylvania Avenue bridge over Airport Freeway — which has been struck dozens of times — and reconstructing frontage roads. Construction shouldn’t overlap with the World Cup. (Fort Worth Report)
