Answered

This week, we asked our readers to guess Jim Courtright’s nickname.

We fooled most because 42% thought it was “Slim Jim.” There’s no way. His real nickname was “Longhair Jim” due to the style he wore his hair while serving the Army scouts.

As a bonus, we asked readers who played Jim Courtright in the Western TV drama series “1883"? That’s Billy Bob Thornton.
Gone, but not forgotten

The Wrap

The Cowgirl Museum expansion has reached one of its first milestones, completing its new facade. When you drive by, you will see 70 embossed horses along the top of the building. Those horses are about 10 feet tall from ear to hoof. I can’t wait to see the finished project — which is expected to finish in August.
