When GRAMMY Award winner Leon Bridges and former TCU head coach (and recent College Football Hall of Famer) Gary Patterson shared a love for helping others, they came together to create The Big Good in 2021.
Its mission is to bridge the gap between other nonprofits and their unmet needs by raising awareness and contributions. But these partner organizations don’t just address a single issue in our community. They address several — literacy, education, food insecurity, and unemployment.
Since 2021, The Big Good has had four sole partners — the Tarrant Area Food Bank, United Community Centers, T3 Partnership, and Upspire. In 2025 alone, the nonprofit granted $1.25 million to these groups.
