Less than one year since its grand opening, the National Medal of Honor Museum was voted No. 1 Best New Museum in USA Today’s 2026 Reader’s Choice Awards, rounding off a historic year for the foundation. Nominations were hand-picked by a panel of experts, then voted on by the public.
Board of Directors Chair Charlotte Jones says that since its opening in March 2025, “tens of thousands of visitors have walked through the doors and left inspired by what they’ve seen.” She hinted that 2026 will be even greater with more engaging programming. Stay tuned for more updates.
Tickets + Memberships
Visitors can explore the 25,000 sqft of exhibits, including interactive galleries, pictures and artifacts, letters from home, and more. Buy tickets online and choose from a variety of tours starting at $30, or become a member and receive unlimited admissions.
In addition to its courses, Maverick will feature an extensive collection of practice facilities, including a range house, a golf-teaching facility, and a short-game area.
Maverick Golf & Ranch Club’s 9-hole par 3 course is officially open. Designed by world-renowned Architect Tom Fazio, it is the first of three courses set to open this year at the new club located on Rolling Hills Drive in southwest Fort Worth.
