The Western-wear and boot company Ariat International is expanding its FTW headquarters and adding 250 jobs to the market. The company will invest $72.6 million in the project, which will cover the construction of a new distribution center in the area. (Fort Worth Report)

Earlier this year, Fort Worth’s Cook Children’s performed a risky heart surgery on a five-month-old baby. Most hospitals avoid the surgery due to the survival rate. However, it turned out to be successful, and the baby and her family are now safely home in Georgia. (Fort Worth Report)
