Something to look forward to: a large community harvest table where visitors can come together and share food.
Rendering by Streams & Valleys
Last week, Fort Worth nonprofit Streams & Valleys broke ground on the west bank of the Phyllis Tilley Memorial Bridge in Trinity Park to make room for some future upgrades. By April 2026, visitors will be able to enjoy a butterfly garden, a wildflower meadow, and a community harvest table.
The plan also calls for many new flowering trees — and the number of trees wasn’t chosen at random. Each new tree planted will represent one year of the late community advocate Phyllis Tilley’s life. Tilley — founder of the Streams & Valleys — helped shape the Trinity River experience as we know it today.
