A new $250 million mixed-use project called Copper Ranch is now under construction at Bonds Ranch Road and US 287. It’ll bring retail, ~550 apartments, and a school for 400 students — a major boost for north Fort Worth. (The Dallas Business Journal)

Two Mansfield ISD students are taking their talents to primetime. Seventh graders Aeiress Jones and Raymond Ware landed roles on ABC’s award-winning sitcom “Abbott Elementary.” The young actors will appear in episodes airing later this month.
Legacy
Legendary cowboy Cleo Hearn — founder of the influential Cowboys of Color Rodeo — has died at 86. His work widened the arena for Black and multicultural cowboys and cowgirls. He earned a star on the Texas Trail of Fame in the Stockyards in 2005. (Fort Worth Report)
