$761 million. Have we captured your attention? That’s how much Wistron — a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer — is using to build its first two US facilities. And they’ll be located right here in Fort Worth.
Both facilities will specialize in AI supercomputing and are expected to be operational by early next year. AI supercomputing refers to managing vast amounts of data with super-powerful processes to build artificial intelligence models. You know — real tech-y stuff.
The primary plant will be a 324,598-sqft building located at the corner of Heritage Parkway and North Freeway, while a secondary 766,994-sqft plant will be located on Mobility Way.

TCU students are studying alternative, community-based solutions to drug-related imprisonment. The Institute of Behavioral Research at the campus has just been awarded a $7.2 million grant to continue the BRIDGE (Building Resilient Initiatives for Deflection through Greater Engagement) program — which launched last month and is serving 20 communities in the US.
Instead of arresting an individual for a drug crime, the program would deflect them to an emotional or medical support connection, thereby breaking a repeated cycle and increasing overall public health and safety.
