$180 million. That’s how much City Council approved for an expansion at Eagle Mountain Treatment Plant to support a higher demand of the city. By 2028, the facility will provide 35 million more gallons per day to the water system. (WFAA)

WFAA’s Dia Hall shared clips of TEA Commissioner Mike Morath visiting three schools in FWISD yesterday, closely observing classroom instruction. He announced he’ll decide on a TEA takeover within three months.
Health
Texas Health Resources will build a new hospital to serve the rapidly growing Parker County. The new hospital is set to open in 2028 and will include an emergency department and a three-story medical office. It’ll provide physical therapy, lab services, and advanced imaging. Real Estate
Dallas Fingerprint reported that Dallas ranks as No. 2 for most apartments built in a metro in 2025 — second to NYC. Dallas constructed 5,778 units, while Fort Worth built 3,973.
