Whether you’re a sports fanatic — or just look good in royal blue and silver — when it comes to sports, we have no shortage of teams to support.
Let’s begin with the Dallas Cowboys — whose upcoming season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m., versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dallas Cowboys | Est. 1960
The Cowboys were nicknamed “America’s Team” in 1978 when film narrator John Facenda said the team appears on TV so much that they are as recognizable as movie stars and US presidents. The nickname eventually stuck after the Cowboys dominated their regular seasons and won two Super Bowls under then-head coach Tom Landry.
In 1989, Jerry Jones purchased a majority interest in the Cowboys from H.R. Bright. By 2018, the Cowboys became the first sports team to be valued at $5 billion, making it the most valuable sports team in the world.
On Friday, Lucchese launched a limited-edition Dallas Cowboys collection, featuring brand-new Cowboys-themed leather boots, t-shirts, men’s button-downs — even a women’s fur cape and a clear ostrich purse that’s stadium-ready.
Looks like some styles are already gone, but no worries. Show your college pride with the Texas Longhorns or A&M Aggies capsules — just in time for football season.
Some styles in the Lucchese x Cowboys will be available in stores beginning next month. Shop Mule Alley.
