Did I trip and stumble onto a hidden gem over the weekend? This past Saturday, I discovered Fortunata Winery in Aubrey for the first time. I got there before the rush happened, which made me think I’d found a “diamond in the rough,” but after an hour or so, the place really began to fill up.
The most memorable experience of it all was the musical performance by Kai Schrank—a regular performer at Fortunata, whose style bears resemblance to that of Frank Sinatra. I’ve visited many wineries before, but never heard a talent like his. Check out his upcoming events.
