The steakburger and frozen custard fast-food chain Freddy’s is headed to southeast Fort Worth late next month. A bill was signed into law that bans the use of cellphones at Texas schools. House Bill 1481 requires all public and charter schools to prohibit the use of personal devices during school hours. Starting Monday, Sept. 1, schools will have 90 days to adopt the new policy. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
