🕶️ Patio season

Fountains in a plaza surrounded by skyscrapers
Sundance Square is a must-see on any downtown tour. | Photo by @capturinggracearoundtheworld
So you’ve got a deadline at 3 p.m… and a big pile of laundry taunting you. We get it — working from home can be a mixed blessing. There are days when a change of scenery is a must if you’re going to get anything done.

Finding places to work outside in Fort Worth was at the top of our to-do list, so can we just say? Check. And we know it’s getting hot out there. So here are three places with some shade to get you started.

Casa Azul Coffee
Sip a shaken espresso or a churro latte on the large side patio while you work.

Birdie’s Social Club
A workplace that feels like vacation? Yes, please. Relax with a tropical cocktail at the Palm Springs-inspired patio + catch the big game on TV.

Burk Burnett Park
Step away from your office and enjoy fresh air in the heart of downtown, shaded by some of the city’s tallest skyscrapers.

What did we miss? If you know an outdoor spot that’s not on the list, let us know using this survey.
