$60 million. That’s how much art the New York City auction house Christie’s is auctioning off from Sid and Anne Bass’ Fort Worth home. During the 20th and 21st Century Art auction series next month, nine artworks will be sold, including one piece that’s an estimated $35 million. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)

The Coca-Cola bottler Arca Continental, located in Fossil Creek, is preparing for a major expansion. This month, it filed a $74.9 million renovation plan — under half of the total amount in updates the company anticipates, which is $168 million. The warehouse would gain 250,000 sqft and two new production lines. (Fort Worth Report)

This week, TCU announced that its football team will play its 2026 opener in Dublin, Ireland. On Saturday, Aug. 29 of next year, the Horned Frogs will face the North Carolina Tar Heels at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium. This year’s season opener is still set for Chapel Hill, NC. (WFAA)

Four Fort Worth suburbs have been ranked on Safewise’s 2025 Texas’s Safest Cities list. At No. 18 is Flower Mound, No. 12 is Argyle, No. 7 is Colleyville, and lastly, at No. 4 is Trophy Club. Nearly 42% of Texans reported they feel safe in Texas. Rankings are based on crime + natural disaster statistics.

$1 million. That’s how much money the American Heart Association raised at its 2025 Tarrant County Heart Ball earlier this month, setting a new record.
