Just checking in — how’s the New Year’s resolution going? According to WalletHub, Fort Worth ranks No. 67 on its list of best cities at keeping their resolutions, but we’re determined to reach our goals.

The Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department has a new director for the first time in decades. Dave Lewis is replacing Richard Zavala, who is retiring soon after serving in the role since 1992. Lewis started yesterday, and Zavala will help the transition through the end of April.
