The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival returns to the Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork for four delicious days and nights. From Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6, you can responsibly sample as many bites as you like + choose from 100+ wines. Act fast — two events have already sold out of their early entrance tickets.

Savor these mouth-watering events

Tacos + Tequila | 6:30-9 p.m. | $75 | Come out of your shell at this event — we think the name speaks for itself. Hurry — because early admission is already sold out.

The Main Event | 6:30-9 p.m. | $145 | Peruse 100+ vendors featuring small plates from local chefs paired with endless beer, wine, and cocktail samples.

Concert

The 10th Annual Outlaw Music Festival has announced its headliners. Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, featuring the Avett Brothers, will be at Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas on Saturday, July 5. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Feb. 7. (Dallas Observer)

Opened

There’s a new Japanese restaurant open in North Richland Hills. JAL Japanese Express is a fast-casual style restaurant whose menu contains Japanese favorites like sashimi and nigiri sushi, hibachi entrees, poke bowls + udon soup. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Looking for a spot that serves breakfast all day? Coming to Keller, Lone Star Cafe is set to open this month. Menu items feature crepes, yogurt parfaits, and their signature Lone Star benedict. Stay tuned for the opening date. (Community Impact)

Tandy Leather is moving its headquarters but will remain close to Cowtown. The 100+ year-old leather company is packing up and moving to a 134,000-sqft spot in Benbrook after September. It remains searching for its new flagship store destination. (WFAA)

Development

A west Fort Worth ranch will be converted into a 1,100-acre, 500-home development, three golf courses, and a water park. The Maverick Golf and Ranch Club doesn’t have a set completion date, but the three-par golf course is expected to be finished this fall while the 18-hole course completed fall of 2026. (WFAA)

Outdoors

The Fort Worth Zoo’s Hall of Wonders will soon see a fresh makeover. Thanks to a $2 million grant from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, the zoo will give the hall much-needed updates, thereby enhancing and educating guest experiences on the zoo’s conservation projects. (City of Fort Worth)
