It seems Christmas is over for Campo Verde. The Tex-Mex spot in Arlington, known for its holiday decorations, reportedly laid off its staff + it’s been weeks since the spot was last seen open on Sunday, Jan. 5. (CultureMap Fort Worth)
Development
Construction began on a 138,000-sqft retail center in Argyle. The retail development will be home to a Tom Thumb grocery store, restaurants, and a bank. Good news for the residents whose grocery options are currently 20-30 minutes away. (WFAA)

Concert
Over 70 pianists will play for a chance to compete in the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. The dueling pianists will take the stage at PepsiCo Recital Hall at TCU Sunday, March 16 through Saturday, March 22. Attendance is free.

Do you know CPR? Free CPR classes will be offered at the Fort Worth Public Library through February. The first class will be on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Summerglen branch.
