Westland Restaurant Group + Magdalena’s Catering & Events are partnering up. Moving forward, Magdalena’s will oversee catering and events for all Westland Restaurant Group concepts (including JD’s Hamburgers and West Side Cafe)under the name Westland Catering Co. (Fort Worth Magazine)

Trinity Metro’s board of directors approved a $163.7 million operating budget for the 2025 fiscal year — about $15.8 million more than 2024’s budget. The transit agency expects to receive over $180 million in revenue, primarily from sales tax allocations + operating grants. (Fort Worth Report)

The Shops at Clearfork announced that West Fork Garden Market will be popping up through the end of Decemeber next to Rise Noº3. The market sells tabletop essentials, gifts, holiday decorations, and party supplies.

Fort Worth-based American Airlines announced that it is cutting more flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Services to to Nashville, TN; Raleigh/Durham, NC; and Boston, MA will be cut in November. Service to Orange County, CA will be cut in January. (The Dallas Morning News)

Looking for a way to give back to your community? North Texas Giving Day takes place tomorrow.
The online giving event hosted by Communities Foundation of Texas has raised over $566 million for 3,000+ nonprofits in its 15 years. It’s also the largest community-wide giving event in the US.
How to participate
The easiest way community members can participate is by donating, but you or your business can also become a sponsor.
You can choose to provide a one-time or monthly donation + can donate anonymously or hide your name/amount from the public.
