North Fort Worth has had a big appetite for growth in the past few years. Let’s take a look at the area’s expansion from one perspective: food
There are varying ideas of what comprises “north Fort Worth.” Developer Hillwood marks the boundaries north to south from Argyle to North Tarrant Parkway, and east to west from Trophy Club to Haslet. Meanwhile, the North Fort Worth Alliance sets the area north to south from TX-114 to North Tarrant Parkway, and east to west from TX-377 to TX-156, including parts of Denton County.
Keep reading for spots that opened within the Alliance area in the last six months.
Supermarkets
H-E-B Alliance opened in early April; this was the chain’s first location in Tarrant County. (Mansfield later followed.)
Sprouts opened a location at 4525 W. Bailey Boswell Rd. in late June, featuring its signature farm-fresh produce and open layout.
Restaurants
Parry’s Pizza opened in April with 72 taps + some delectable Polo Grounds Parm Bites.
Delucca Gaucho Pizzeria and Wine opened in mid-May, featuring five courses for $25.95.
360 Brunch House arrived this spring in the same complex as H-E-B; it’s open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
Hash Kitchen, billed as “home of the original BYO Bloody Mary bar,” also opened in the same complex.
Coming Soon: HG Sply Co. plans to open this fall or winter with seating for 220+, in addition to a multi-level patio with 108 more seats outside.
Three Wide Brewing, located very close to Texas Motor Speedway, opened in early March.
However you slice it, north Fort Worth is a major avenue of growth for the city, and the food and beverage industry represents a huge chunk of that. Stay tuned for more coverage of the commercial development.
