Historic Fort Worth released its annual list of Most Endangered Places, including R. Vickery School (2005 E. Vickery Blvd.) and six other sites. Previous editions of the list have brought attention to new development opportunities.

City Environmental Services Director Cody Whittenburg developed a new seven-step plan to address trash service issues, including easier reporting from residents. Between October and March, the city’s contractors missed about 1,600 collections per month; the industry standard is 1,100 or less. (Fort Worth Report)

Leon Bridges rocked a few Met Gala “Best Dressed” lists for his Texas-inspired bluebonnet suit from designer Willy Chavarria. Bridges’ personal stylist, Gabriela Tena, says the look was a nod to Black cowboys of the Old West. (Vogue)

Burleson is getting a Cava, located at 265 NW John Jones Dr., Ste. 101. Opening tomorrow, this will be Cava’s 25th DFW location in the last four years. (CultureMap Fort Worth)
Biz
Dallas-based Prime Data Centers filed a permit for three two-story data centers near Aledo Road and Chapin School Road. The $1.6 billion project would begin in September and finish around January 2026.
Development
Mercantile Logistics Station, sitting near I-35W and I-820 and replete with 851,033 sqft of Class A space across two buildings, is now available for corporate leasing. The project is part of a $250 million fund that private equity real estate fund manager Velocis raised for industrial development across Texas. (Dallas Morning News)

Another opening — Keller will be the site of the first DFW-area Hungry Howie’s, a pizza chain with eight flavored crusts, including the simply-titled “Butter.” The locale opens on Monday, May 13 at 1320 N. Main St., Ste. 100. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Paging Adam Silver — for a city that’s never had a NBA team, Fort Worth did surprisingly well on this Wallethub list of basketball fandom cities, coming in at No. 52. Dickies Arena hosts multiple basketball tournaments annually, and we’d have a ready-made rivalry with the Mavericks... just saying.
Plan Ahead
The legendary Lyle Lovett returns to Bass Performance Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 22 as part of the Irwin Steel Popular Entertainment Series lineup. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.
