It’s the month of mocktails. To start the new year, many restaurants and bars take part in what’s known as Dry January — a challenge that encourages people to refocus, cleanse their systems, and abstain from alcohol consumption for one month.
To make the challenge a little bit easier for you, we’ve rounded up eight places where you can find mocktails and zero-proof drinks around Fort Worth.
Maiden, 1216 6th Ave.
The fine dining restaurant is the newest vegan joint in town and offers two mocktails made with Ritual Zero-Proof Gin.
Proper, 409 W. Magnolia Ave.
Stop into the Magnolia bar and ask for a drink from its list of 0 ABV offerings, including Heineken 00 and Lyers American Malt and Cola.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill, 3131 W. 7th St.
This is City Editor Rebecca’s favorite sushi restaurant. The menu features a long list of vegan and specialty rolls + zero-proof drinks — all for $6.50 each, which are some of the cheapest mocktails we’ve seen.
Tarantula Tiki Lounge, 117 S. Main St.
Known for its umbrella drinks and island decor, this tiki bar has options like the classic Shirley Temple and The Virgin Ray for $8.
Clay Pigeon Food & Drink, 2731 White Settlement Rd.
The fine dining restaurant has a long list of non-alcoholic drinks, ranging from teas and coffees to mocktails. Try the Disco Lemonade or the I Said Doctor.
