Overton Woods
We’re daydreaming about spending spring + summer in this newly-renovated Overton Woods oasis.
Need to know
Located along the banks of the Trinity River, the Overton Woods neighborhood sits on gently rolling hills and plains of the Edwards family’s former cattle ranch, and many of its single-family homes boast max curb appeal.
Plentiful, mature trees line the tranquil streets and easy access to the Trinity Trails provide miles of enjoyment for biking, running + walking for Fort Worthians who enjoy the outdoors.
Like neighboring Riverhills, both Hulen St. and the Chisholm Trail Parkway give residents an easy commute to all areas of Cowtown.
Where to live If you’re sold + looking to become Overton Woods’ latest resident, here are some housing options currently on the market via Williams Trew.
Riverhills
Two additional phases are planned for future development in Riverhills.

We’re firm believers in spoiling the ones we love — especially our pets. That’s why we’re adding these two things to our shopping carts: this customizable velvet collar and this durable bed that features a removable slipcover. Don’t forget the treats. We love these soft chews for doggos and these freeze dried snacks for cats.

More than 100 sculptures are making their Cowtown debut this week at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. ZimSculpt opens on Saturday, April 15, and will run through Sunday, July 30.
The exhibition features contemporary Shona sculptures — which are carved from serpentine, semi-precious stone, and measure up to seven feet tall — from various Zimbabwean artists.
Find the heavy sculptures throughout the garden and learn about the art form by watching on-site sculptors carve statues using chisels, hammers, files, and sandpaper.
The exhibit will change over the course of the summer as each piece is available for purchase at The Marketplace — located next to the Japanese Garden — and will be replaced by a new one.
“What visitors experience the first day of the show may be altogether different later in the exhibit.” ZimSculpt founder Vivienne Prince said in a press release.
