Dutch Bros plans to open a new freestanding shop on Golden Triangle Boulevard and Sports Parkway. According to a state filing, the coffee shop will begin construction in September on the 950-sqft facility for drive-thru and walk-up service. It’s expected to open at the start of the new year.

The Texas Rangers are extending alcohol sales through the eighth inning at Globe Life Field. Most MLB teams have a seventh-inning cutoff, but with the new pitch clock speeding up the pace of the game, the team is giving fans more time to enjoy their cold beverage.

The Arlington Museum of Art is moving from downtown to Esports Stadium Arlington and Expo Center. In a deal with the city, the museum will spend $2.9 million to remodel the expo space + the city will spend $1.9 million to update the exterior and shared corridor. The first exhibit will open in 2024.

Takara Japanese Restaurant is getting ready to open at 5301 Golden Triangle Blvd. The restaurant offers bento boxes, poke bowls, ramen, and lunch specials. The far north Fort Worth spot will open in May — until then, stop by the other location in the Fossil Park neighborhood. (Community Impact)

Step inside some of your favorite Disney movies during a one-of-a-kind immersive experience coming to North Texas.
“Disney Animation: Immersive Experience” is opening this Thursday, April 20 at Lighthouse ArtSpace Dallas located at 507 S. Harwood St. — near the Dallas Farmers Market.
Guests will be transported into an immersive experience featuring art and music from classic Disney films like “The Lion King,” “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Zootopia,” “Frozen,” and many more.
The show will have interactive features including a responsive floor projection that moves with the audience + custom light-up bracelets that sync with the projections and the audience’s movements through the galleries.
Ticket options include individual, family packs (4+), and group (10+) tickets starting at $27.99. The show will run through Monday, Sept. 4 with shows offered every day except Tuesday.
