Calling all fashionistasFort Worth Fashion Week returns on Monday, April 1 and Friday, April 5. Level up your street style while catching a glimpse of this spring and summer’s hottest styles by attending the two signature events:

FWISD “NEXT GEN” Fashion Runway Show | Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
This all-ages event on Monday, April 1 will showcase vibrant and textured regalia that’s been crafted by Fort Worth ISD students — hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

“The Future” Fashion Runway Show | Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
See looks by future fashion designers from Texas universities; the show coincides with the museum’s free First Friday event on Friday, April 5, so you can also expect live music, light bites, and specialty drinks.

The Kyiv City Ballet comes to Fort Worth, TX

The Kyiv City Ballet will perform at Bass Performance Hall during the company’s first United States tour and only Texas show. The Kyiv City Ballet has teamed up with Performing Arts Fort Worth and Texas Ballet Theater for “A Tribute to Peace” on Mon., Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

The company will perform a neoclassical work choreographed by Ekaterina Kozlova and Ivan Kozlov that includes excerpts from Don Quixote, La Bayadere and Paquite pas de deux, and the Ukrainian folk dance Men of Kyiv.

Performing Arts Fort Worth president and CEO Dione Kennedy said in a press release that the organization is honored to host the company. “We recognize the unique time this is in our nation and our world,” Dione said. “And we look forward to seeing a celebration of peace and hospitality on the Bass Hall stage.”
